Since 1990, over thirty years!

Why are Austin Air’s products superior to others in the purifier market?

1-Arrow Up

Austin Air’s filters and proprietary 360° air intake system make us superior. Austin Air uses true medical grade HEPA filter paper, 60 square feet total, in their purifiers. We also use Activated Carbon and Zeolite (780 cubic inches to be exact) which remove chemicals, gases and odors (HealthMate, and Bedroom Machine). Our HealthMate Plus filter features Potassium Iodide Impregnated Carbon and Zeolite, which removes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases and odors. Our Allergy Machine and Bedroom Machine both feature an advanced military carbon cloth (HEGA) placed inside the filter. This provides an extremely large surface area for adsorption of chemicals, gases, viruses and bacteria.

What is the difference between the four Austin Air filter types?

STAGE 1 – Large Particle Pre-filter. Removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander)

STAGE 2 – Medium Particle Pre-filter. Removes small to medium size particles (e.g. molds, spores and pollen)

What are the pre-filters made of?
